Mogren I & II:
Two small pebble coves nestled beneath steep cliffs, connected by a scenic coastal path from the Old Town. Known for their clear water and calm conditions, Mogren beaches are ideal for swimming and relaxing. Facilities are limited, so come prepared.
Jaz Beach:
One of the largest beaches near Budva, Jaz is a sandy, spacious bay just a 10-minute drive from town. It's famous for open-air summer festivals and concerts, but also features quieter family zones, beach bars, and restaurants. Parking is available on site.
Bečići Beach:
A long, sandy stretch perfect for families, located just outside Budva. The water is shallow and clean, and the beach is well-equipped with loungers, umbrellas, and nearby cafes. Great for a full-day outing.
Kamenovo Beach:
Tucked between Bečići and Rafailovići, Kamenovo is a favorite among younger travelers. Its turquoise water, fine gravel, and vibrant beach bars create a fun, lively atmosphere from morning to sunset.
Drobni Pijesak:
A small, picturesque bay located south of Budva. With its golden sand, emerald water, and a peaceful beach bar, this cove feels like a hidden paradise. Best reached by car or boat.
Perazića Do:
A quiet, lesser-known beach near the village of Petrovac, surrounded by steep cliffs and partially shaded by pine trees. Great for those seeking a peaceful, natural setting away from the crowds.
Ričardova Glava:
Just outside the Old Town walls, this small urban beach is easily accessible and offers a mix of natural beauty and city charm. Expect crowds in high season, but the views of the Citadel make it worth it.
Ploče:
Not your typical sandy beach – Ploče is a series of flat stone terraces built into the coastline, perfect for sunbathing and diving into deep water. Popular for its beach clubs and party vibe, especially during the summer months.
Kraljičina Plaža (Queen’s Beach):
A secluded, elegant beach surrounded by lush greenery, accessible mostly by boat or by walking from nearby Miločer. Known for its peaceful setting and soft sand, it's a favorite among those looking for privacy.
Kraljeva Plaža (King’s Beach):
Located near Queen’s Beach, this stretch of shoreline offers a tranquil escape with scenic beauty and shade from cypress and olive trees. A quiet spot for couples or anyone avoiding the crowds.
Lučice Beach:
Near Petrovac, Lučice is a wide, family-friendly beach with clear, shallow water and plenty of natural shade. There are cafes and playgrounds nearby, making it ideal for a relaxed day with children.
Local Tip: Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent on most beaches, with prices varying by location – starting around €15 and going up depending on the beach and position (first row usually costs more). If you prefer a free spot, arrive early, especially during peak season, and bring your own towel or beach mat.
